A S Yacht Services take care of the entire process of replacing your standing rigging. We can provide the highest quality stainless steel in 1X19, 7X7, 7X19, Compact Dyform wire, or Synthetic fibres.
Using world leading manufacturers, we can source wire and fittings before swaging up to 12mm wire on our inhouse Wireteknik swage machine.
All our materials can be traced from the receipt of raw material at our suppliers, through to the installation process on your yacht. We predominantly use UK manufactured wire and fittings, and can issue a letter of conformity upon request.
We would always prefere to remove your old rigging ourselves prior to making up and installing the new rigging. This enables us to ensure everything is suitable on the mast, rather than just copying the previous riggers work, as this is not always correct. However, we have recently carried out “made to measure” replacement rigging, and we are delighted to say this has worked well, so if it suits we are willing to make new rigging based on your measurements.
After the installation of your new standing rigging we offer a Rig Tune, and a certificate stating the date of the re-rig. This has proved to be very useful for future reference when selling or re-insuring your yacht.
